Engineer / Senior Engineer – HV Underground Cables
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a rapidly growing company within the transmission & distribution sector, who have been successful in winning many major projects within the UK.
Your role as Engineer will be responsible for leading the quality and consistency of the teams output in the production and control of drawings and technical documents.

Key responsibilities for this Engineer role:
- Lead and coordinate the production of designs.
- Manage production of designs through robust checking process.
- Work a mix of cable projects ranging from short cable replacements within substations to major grid reinforcement projects that involve cable lengths in the 100’s of Kms..
Experience required for this Engineer role:
- Experience leading and coordinating production of all designs associated with the new or modification of EHV projects.
- Experience of EHV cabling and primary design.
- Experience in production of bonding / line diagrams, cable rating calculations, induced voltage calculations.
- BEng/BSc in electrical engineering.
Package offered for this Engineer role:
- £50,000 - £55,000 + package
