We have a current opportunity for a Senior Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in the North East on a long term exciting and prestigious Rail Project, for a subcontractor.
The client are working on the Civils element of this project, so we I am looking for Senior Engineers with experience on things such as New station builds/Refrubs/Platform extensions/General Rail Civils work - Car parks/bridges/subways etc/Groundworks/Earthworks/Construction.
We are looking for a Civils Senior Engineer with 5+ years experience working with Tier 1/PC's, and a mixture of Subcontractor experience too.
Key experience for Senior Engineer -
1. Civils background within Rail
2. Senior Engineer background - confident and competent in the role
3. Site background - Setting out/Site/Paperwork
4. Confident in helping the wider team/directing them
5. PTS required
This role is based in the North East, so we are ideally looking for someone from the area, who is able to travel to the site (Northumberland/Blyth/Bebside and surrounding areas)
Rate £400 - £425 DOE
OUTSIDE IR35 - QDOS ASSESSMENT WILL NEED TO BE DONE
Start date - ASAP
Length - initial 6 months contract with the view for extension
