Job Title: Civil Supervisor
Location: Cumbria, regular travel to various sites
We are seeking a Civil Supevisor to join a well-established Telecommunications client based in Cumbria to work on a large-scale FTTP build project.
Your role as a Civil Supervisor will be to oversee crews on the ground, both direct labour and subcontractors, while ensuring the works are carried out to a high standard, on time and in accordance with UK health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities for this Civil Supervisor role:
- Supervise all civils aspects of the FTTP build and delivery project
- Assist with planning crews around works and tracking daily progress of the network build
- Oversee completion of works are carried out in line with acceptable handover including As-Built compliance / documentation
- Ensure all relevant permits are in date and in place to keep civils works on schedule
- Manage multiple teams of civils gangs across DL and Subcontractors
- Manage risk register in line with delivery programme and documentation of possible delays
- Regular ad-hoc tasks regarding project documentation
Key Requirements for this Civil Supervisor role:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Civil Supervisor, ideally working on Telecoms projects
- Experience managing, leading and upskilling onsite teams
- Strong understanding of UK health and safety regulations
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation & SSSTS/SMSTS
- Knowledge of BT Openreach specifications and knowledge of PIA.
- GIS/AutoCAD Knowledge (desirable)
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Full valid driving license.
Package offered for this Civil Supervisor role:
- £35,000 - £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
