The Water Division is focused on building water and wastewater infrastructure, providing millions of people with clean water every day. As a trusted partner for both public and private sector clients, they offer a full range of services, including planning, design, construction, and construction management to meet the unique needs of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for instrumentation, control systems, and SCADA implementations for water and wastewater projects
- Oversee start-up, commissioning, training, and close-out for water/wastewater facilities, including mechanical and electrical systems
- Lead site activities, such as contract management, change orders, procurement, and scheduling
- Manage controls for costs, planning, engineering, and supervision
- Develop logistics plans and schedules for large municipal projects, valued between $15-200 million
- Train plant operators on new control systems
- Prepare proposals, budgets, progress, and cost reports
- Oversee monthly pay applications and review projections
- Manage delivery records for equipment and materials
- Develop recruitment and staff development strategies
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Forecast job completion costs accurately
- Ensure quality assurance and control throughout the project
- Address any issues with project executives
- Approve schedules, financial projections, and cost forecasts
- Ensure compliance with site rules and safety standards, coordinating with the safety manager
- Travel to project sites as needed, up to 25% of the time (travel reimbursed)
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of construction experience, preferably with a general contractor in water/wastewater projects
