Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

About the role
Navartis are supporting a Tier 1 Contractor with a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their Rail team in London. The role will include all technical and commercial responsibilities for the mechanical and electrical installation on projects such as the Piccadilly Line upgrade.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure that the project can be completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
- Review the Estimate/Tenders for the project, alongside the project team, working to understand the requirements, conditions and deliverables
- Communicate to the team all necessary information including contract conditions, specifications, drawings, work instructions and company policies and procedures for the execution of the project.
- Ensure that the project team is trained and motivated and maintain good industrial relations throughout the project's execution.
- Ensure the safe and efficient execution of installation, testing and commissioning in accordance with the agreed installation methodology to the client's quality and programme requirements and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maximum utilization of materials, plan and labour is to be achieved.
About you:
- Experience of traction power supply systems for Rail projects.
- A valid CSCS card
- Experience in Traction Power and London Underground or Rail sector.
- Strong background in electrical switchgear with a working knowledge of Rail applications.
