Job Title: Enablement Director
Travel Requirement across UK
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Enablement Director to join one of our Telecoms clients that deliver fibre network build solutions from design, civil activities, cabling and splicing.
Your role as an Enablement Director will be to lead the Design and Compliance functions of the business to build a high-quality network across the UK. The ideal candidate will have breadth of experience in the rollout of major telecoms infrastructure projects with a strong background in hands-on design.
Key Responsibilities for this Enablement Director role:
- Leading the design function and ensuring alignment through the team and wider business
- Have complete ownership of performance against Design and Compliance KPIs
- Fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, maintain high levels of communication
- Work with the Executive leadership teams both internally and with relevant build partners to develop a robust programme in line with performance objectives
- Liaising with the finance function and ensuring all costs are being managed within budget.
- Management of contractors, subcontractors and build partners and ensuring works are being completed to a high standard.
- Develop and manage an effective and genuine partnering culture with our internal and external Principal Contractors/Designers.
- Leading the training function across self-build and PIA deployment methodology.
- Promoting continuous improvement across the Build, Operations, Design and Compliance teams
Key Requirements for this Enablement Director role:
- Breadth of experience of managing the rollout of major infrastructure projects - Telecoms experience mandatory
- Proven experience as a proactive Leader, adaptable in a fast-paced environment with great communication skills
- Strong background in Fibre Design & Compliance
- Excellent commercial awareness and knowledge
- History of relevant on site and professional certifications and qualifications
