My client is a respected main contractor who specialise in projects including Industrial, Health, Education and retail.
Due to a full order book that takes them well into 2026 and their already strong team overseeing multiple projects, they are looking to take on a Freelance Temporary Works Manager (Structural Design Engineer) to assist in one of their key sectors.
The successful Freelance Temporary Works Manager (Structural Design Engineer) will be working on retail schemes across the UK and will be based out of my clients Bristol Office.
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Temporary Works Manager (Structural Design Engineer) Role
- Managing the design of temporary structures including scaffolding, cranes and lifts
Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and that the temporary works design is checked and implemented on site
Technical Assessment and review of design plans
Delivery of alternative solutions
