Position: Geologist Specialist - Geology
Location: Stuttgart, Germany
We are one of the leading independent consulting companies for geotechnics, hydrogeology and environmental technology in the southwest and have been successfully advising customers on all issues relating to subsoil, groundwater and pollutants for over 45 years. We are now looking for a Geologist with a specialization in Engineering Geology to strengthen our engineering geology team at the Stuttgart location.
Your tasks:
- Design, tendering and supervision of exploration measures.
- Soil and rock analysis during exploration activities.
- Independent project processing and preparation of reports for projects in building construction, civil engineering, civil and transport infrastructure construction.
- Conducting field trials.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and communication with clients and authorities.
Requirements:
- Completed studies in geology, engineering geology, geotechnics or comparable qualification.
- Initial professional experience of several years in the above-mentioned fields.
- In-depth knowledge of soil and rock mechanics as well as geotechnical investigation methods.
- Great enthusiasm for construction practice and high flexibility.
- Confident use of geotechnical software and modern exploration methods.
- Good level of German language fluency
- Class B driving license and willingness to travel on business.
