Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Northampton - Site based

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus package including travel / accommodation if required.

Summary

A Civil Engineering specialist across a range of industries including Roads & Highways, Reinforced Concrete, Earthworks, Enabling works & and Wind farms is looking to take in a Health and Safety Advisor to work on a major civils project in Northampton.

Ideally the successful candidate will be based within a commutable distance to Northampton however we offer paid accommodation on site if daily travel isn't possible.

Seeking someone with:

- Proven HSEQ Advisory experience in the construction / civils sector ideally on large scare infrastructure works.
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Knowledge of accident investigations and reporting procedures
- A sound knowledge of CDM, ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001
- Ability to adapt ideas and approaches to suit changing priorities or solutions
- Well organised, diplomatic, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined

Responsibilities

- Provide HSEQ support to the project
- Assist in the development of documentation including CPP, WPPs
- Promoting the awareness of HSEQ issues and activities across the project
- Organisation of investigations into incidents and accidents, reporting of conclusions and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Maintain liaison with Clients, and Third Parties on HSEQ issues
- HSEQ Manager on developing HSEQ Strategies and maintaining third party accreditations
