Our client, a leading Civils Contractor, is currently seeking a motivated Junior EHS Officer to join their team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to grow your career in Environmental, Health, and Safety within the Civil/Infrastructure sector in Dublin.
Salary: €40,000-€55,000
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company standards.
- Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the development and delivery of EHS training programs for site personnel.
- Monitor and promote a positive safety culture across all project sites.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining EHS records and documentation.
- Participate in EHS meetings and collaborate with project teams to ensure EHS requirements are met.
- Stay informed about relevant EHS legislation and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Knowledge of EHS legislation and regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Proactive attitude towards EHS practices and continuous improvement.
