Lead Civil Designer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Lead Civil Designer to join the UK’s leading facilities management company.

The company is a leader in facilities management and professional services with over 30 years’ experience. Your role as Lead Civil Designer will be responsible for managing a team a team of designers on projects ranging from 11kv to 132kv for contestable works as an ICP.

Key responsibilities for this Lead Civil Designer role:

  • Taking ownership of the projects.

  • Creating drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit & Civils 3D.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, to include DNO’s/IDNO’s and customers.

  • Assisting project managers and site teams in understanding the design.

  • Produce detailed designs from 11kv to 132kv in compliance with industry standards within time and budget.

Experience required for this Lead Civil Designer role:

  • The candidate must have experience with ICP’s, IDNO’s and DNO’s.

  • Experience in managing design projects.

  • Experience in managing as team of designers.

  • Experience in the application of technical governance procedures withing a consulting engineering environment and know how to apply them.

  • Bachelors or masters degree in an appropriate subject.

Package offered for this Lead Civil Designer role:

  • £80,000 base salary. (DOE)

  • Company car.

  • Pension
