Plant and Fleet Co-Ordinator
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: circa £28,000 - £32,000
Summary
A leading European supplier for railway electrification are currently looking to hire a Plant and Fleet Co-Ordinator in their Doncaster office.
Main duties:
- Work as the appointed FORS Practitioner maintain the fleet management element of the IMS and to lead and retain FORS certification.
- Work with the Audit & Assurance Coordinator to ensure provision of assurance activity on fleet management matters.
- Manage the Fleet Administrator in delivering the contents of their JD including reviews and day to day duties.
- Manage the compliance of all drivers to ensure all are complaint with company policies.
- Work with managers/supervisors in identifying fatigue issues associated with travel to/from worksites.
- In liaison with the Commercial team maintain input into the Syrinx System and authorising purchase orders for damages to vehicles.
- Maintain interface with HR in addressing road traffic offences and internal breaches of company policy.
- Maintain the P11D and working with the Transport & Fleet Manager, HR and payroll regarding this.
- Manage the prompt and efficient process for addressing vehicle damage including conducting investigations.
- Act is the initial single point of contact with the company fleet insurers. For MID and any claims that are needed.
- Acting as the single point of contact for any PCNS received for the company ensuring no loss is made to the company.
- Carry out RTC (and other fleet matters) investigations when necessary.
- Assisting the Safety & Services Director with Investigations in Fleet.
- Manage the vehicle requests from HR and Project Managers. Ensuring all requests are fulfilled/authorised in a timely manner.
- Managing any RTC's, liaising with the hire companies and workshops/companies that are relevant.
- Working with the Transport Manager to develop a suite of road safety communication campaigns.
- Assist the Transport Manager in the management of the company O Licence.
- Provide agreed performance data to the monthly Fleet business reviews with the Safety & Services Director.
Seeking candidates with:
- Experience specifically within dealing with Transport, internal and external customers.
- Computer literacy.
- Willingness to travel to different sites and depots to carry out the role and on occasion out of hours.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Full driving licence and vehicle.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to stay calm and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel to different locations as and when required.
