Position - Project Engineer Geotechnical Reports
Location - Essen or Berlin, Germany
I'm currently looking for a Project Engineer with a background in Geotechnical Reports to join our international company where we have offices in over 30 countries and operate on a global scale.
We provide independent services in the four main fields of Exploration, Engineering, Consulting and Geotechnics. We also develop products and offers solutions for industrial metrology and testing with emphasis on natural resources, safety and infrastructure.
Your Responsabilities:
- You will plan and manage subsoil investigations, interpret the results and prepare the associated geotechnical reports for demanding projects (e.g. infrastructure construction, inner-city commercial properties).
- You will take on challenging foundation consultations and carry out profitability analyses for implementation variants.
- You will check and evaluate implementation plans from specialised civil engineering companies.
- As part of your duties, you will take part in project-specific technical discussions and negotiations as the responsible representative of our company and maintain appropriate contacts with experts, planners and test engineers.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Fluency in both German & English
- You have a university degree (master's, diploma or comparable) in civil engineering or geotechnics as well as at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of geotechnics and the above-mentioned specialisations.
- You are proficient in industry-specific software (DC, GGU, PLAXIS, AVA programmes, etc.) for planning civil engineering projects.
- You are characterised by an independent, precise and reliable way of working as well as negotiating skills combined with strong communication and argumentation skills.
- You are characterised by a self-confident manner and a high degree of initiative and willingness to learn.
