Navartis are looking to recruit for a Doncaster based client that are looking to add a Quality Inspector into their current roster – to operate within their Bogie division of the business.
This position will play a key role in ensuring the correct quality process is completed by the teams in production areas – adhering to the correct standards and specifications, as well as creating reports that reflect this and allow efficient monitoring to take place.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing final inspection process prior to dispatch of the bogies to customers
- Ensuring correct inspections of goods inwards are completed
- Report of any quality issues that are to be raised – liaising with production management and the engineering manager to resolve concerns
- Contribute to the improvement of testing methodology and inspection processes
- Preparation of appropriate documentation related to internal process
- Assist with internal audits & first article inspections
- Production of quality control reports and relevant documentation
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience within the rail sector is a must for this position
- Ability to work as a part of a team – strong communication skills, flexible working methodology
- Demonstratable problem solving and logic skill
- Either apprentice trained or an NVQ level 3 certification in a mechanical discipline
- Good IT skills, particularly with MS Office (excel, word)
