Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Location: West Midlands
Rate: Outside IR35, rate negotiable depending upon experience
Duration: 6-month ongoing contract
My client is looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor, who is an experience house builder. This would be to support with maternity cover. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for the UK's leading provider of affordable mixed tenure homes, a company which values integrity, caring, and quality in every area.
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages.
- Negotiation and analysis of sub-contractor tender returns.
- Producing tender analysis for subcontract work packages.
- Completion of Subcontract orders and variations.
- Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts.
- Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting.
- Cost reporting and budget control.
- Attending site project meetings.
- Responsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers.
Key Experience for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Minimum HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent.
- Experience of working within the Construction industry for a residential housing developer.
- Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills.
- COINs user experience.
- Driving licence
