Quantity Surveyor
This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering specialist contractor and work on some exciting civil engineering projects across the North East area of England, to be based in the Durham office working on water projects.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role
• Subcontractor procurement and management from inception to completion
• Report directly to clients and managers including presenting valuation reports and cost estimation
• Production of project financial forecasts and reports
• Monitor cost accuracy and maintain Subcontract liabilities
• Valuation, certification and / or approval of payments to Subcontractors
- Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
• Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification / experience
• Experience of having worked on a variety of contracts (e.g. JCT, NEC contracts) or sector specific equivalent
• A comprehensive understanding of the Water Industry
• Competent in Civil Engineering construction processes and procedures
Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:
• Up to £50,000 negotiable based on experience
• Excellent pension
