Quantity Surveyor

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well known contractor working within the Infrastructure and Utilities sector. This role is to be based in Manchester with site visits as and when required.

The company is a well know Infrastructure and Utilities contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Quantity Surveyor you will part of the commercial team where you will take control of all financial aspects of the project, over seeing commercial and contractual matters.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Costing
- Reporting
- Reviewing documents/Advise of any issues
- Track progress
- Sub Contract Management
- Change Control
- Variations and Compensation Events
- Risk Reviews
- Attend Meetings
- Tenders and pricing
- Support operational team
- Liaise with stakeholders

Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Degree Qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
- Ideally experience within the utilities sector, but other sectors will be considered
- Strong knowledge of contracts, Ideally NEC
- Ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail

Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor Role:

- Basic Salary of up to £48,000 plus package
