Quantity Surveyor
Ireland (travel to Head office and sites where required)
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 contractor that are working across multi-utility infrastructure projects across Ireland.
Your role as a Quantity Surveyor will be to provide commercial support to key clients, to ensure that cost and project targets are met.
Key Responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities
- Support with tendering, cashflow forecasting and cost plan preparations
- Procurement and supply chain management
- Team mentorship and leadership of Junior QS’s and commercial individuals
- Payment applications through to final accounts
- Agree Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Civils background in the utilities industry
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc.) + Microsoft office suite literacy
- FIDIC Yellow Book Contract Administration experience
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Salary €60,000 - €70,000 (depending on experience)
- Hybrid with travel to Head Office & sites required
- Training and development, progression opportunities
