Freelance Senior Engineer - Mechanical Process
Location: Plymouth
Rate: To be discussed on application (dependent on experience)
Engagement: Inside IR35
*Hybrid Role with occasional site visits*
My client is a prestigious contractor who is looking for extra mechanical engineering support on a flagship project in Plymouth.
Due to demand, they are currently looking for a motivated and meticulous senior engineer (mechanical Process) to join the already strong team.
The ideal candidate will have sound understanding of engineering design and safety practise and experience of working on nuclear projects.
Essential Experience for this Freelance Senior Engineer (Mechanical Process) Role
- Awareness of substantiation of process equipment (Ideally Nuclear)
- Design of mechanical and nuclear process / plant systems e.g. radioactive effluent processing etc
- Able to produce process sequence / P&ID drawings
- Experience in producing a wide range of engineering reports

- Support other engineers with the completion of their assigned tasks
- Work with awareness of hazards
- Self-motivated and responsive to requirements
- Work effectively and follow the project plan for project implementation
