Senior or Principal Ecologist
Location: Perth, Glasgow or Inverness
Salary / Benefits: £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience plus package
Summary
A fast growing Environmental Consultancy specialising in ecology, hydrology, contaminated land, construction sector support and arboricultural advice has is looking to take on an Senior or Principal Ecologist to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works.
Responcibilities
Providing and setting high standards of scoping, survey design, survey capability and factual, interpretative, advisory, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Shadow Habitat Regulation Assessment (sHRA), legal/licensing reporting output, adhering to deadlines and working in an accurate, timely and effective manner.
Be a source of expert advice in respect of one or more technical and/or business sector specialisms and will be named as a licensee or licensee's agent on protected species derogation ('mitigation') licences.
Ensuring the team effectively manage sub-contractors and quality check that the work and deliverables are undertaken/provided to the standard required by Gavia Environmental Limited.
Playing an active part in attracting new clients and generating new business for the company. Increasingly may be allocated role as a key point of contact for one or more especially valued Clients.
