Your new role
As our new Senior Planning Engineer (m/f/d) for Railway Energy Systems – Overhead Lines, you will support us in a variety of railway infrastructure projects and help shape the transport transition.
Your main tasks will be:
Establishment and management of a specialist team at several locations and integration of available capacities (cross-country)
Contact person for coordination with the various project participants, the customer and authorities
Planning, documentation and consulting for electrical systems of railway infrastructure in the area of overhead lines across all performance phases of the HOAI, taking into account the relevant regulations and guidelines
Participation in project management in the planning and fulfillment of project tasks
Preparation/participation in the calculation of planning services and the preparation of offers
Your new team
You will be part of the transport and rail department. We support the challenges of the transport transition through our commitment with more than 3,200 experts in the field of transport and rail worldwide. Our team in Germany will be further expanded and enlarged in the coming years in order to incorporate the diverse experience from regional, national and international projects (example: Fehmarnbelt underpass between Denmark and Germany - the world's longest tunnel for rail and road traffic).

This includes:
Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, energy engineering or comparable courses
At least 5 years of professional experience in the planning of electrical systems in the railway infrastructure sector
In-depth knowledge of the HOAI as well as the current VDE regulations, DIN standards and the relevant regulations, standards and laws
Confident use of common software systems (including MS Office, AutoCAD, OLAcad, iTWO)
Interest in digitalization and the BIM methodology
Communication and assertiveness skills
Enjoy working in a team
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
