Our transport department are looking for a new senior traffic system planner (m/f/d) for railway infrastructure projects / traffic systems to join our growing company.
Your New Role
As our new senior traffic system planner (m/f/d) for railway infrastructure projects / traffic systems, you will support us in a variety of railway infrastructure projects and help shape the transport transition.
Your main tasks will be:
- Technical management of a team of traffic system planners in the field of railway infrastructure as well as personnel management in the context of project processing
- Project management for the planning of railway infrastructure projects within the framework of HOAI performance phases 1-7 and 9 as well as compliance with operational, traffic and strategic specifications with responsibility for deadlines, quality and budget
- Responsibility for capacity, utilization planning and quality assurance
- Development/participation in the calculation of planning services and the preparation of offers
- Review of third-party planning results with regard to costs, deadlines and quality
- Presentation of project results within the project and to the public
- Contact person for technical questions such as route optimization, variant development and introduction/implementation of new planning methods (e.g. BIM)

This includes:
- Successfully completed degree in civil engineering, railway transport engineering or comparable courses
- Several years of professional experience in planning and/or coordination as a planning engineer: in railway infrastructure projects
- Experience in managing employees
- Very good knowledge in the areas of HOAI, VOB, VOL as well as in the valid legal provisions and relevant regulations and rules
- Experience with the awarding of planning services and the preparation of offers
- BIM knowledge is an advantage; confident handling of the relevant software systems (e.g. PROVI, AutoCAD, Revit)
- Technical and commercial understanding
- Interest in complex tasks and networking
- Self-motivation, reliability and solution-oriented working methods
- Enjoy working in a structured team and leading project teams
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
