We have a new opportunity for a Site Manager on a permanent basis to be based on site in Weiden in der Oberpfalz ( East of Nuremburg).
My client is a leading global player in the Construction, Infrastructure and Energy sector operating in around 100 countries. In Germany, my client leverages its expertise in complex and large-scale projects, geotechnical engineering and provides a wide range of services related to ground engineering, soil improvement, foundation engineering, and tunneling. They have completed numerous large scale projects in Germany and have recently won a new and exciting project in the South of Germany which is scheduled to be completed by 2028, therefore the position will provide longevity.
As a Site Manager you will be reporting directly to the Project Diector
Background:
-
Experience with underground pipeline laying
-
Experience with Groundworks & Geotechnics on site
-
Drainage work on a four lane Highway
-
Construction of work site access roads
-
Laying of four 525 kV DC powerlines
-
Trenchless techniques, including directional drilling & "controlled drilling"

HDD pipe jacking, dewatering, experience with shafts
-
Overcoming and limit the environmental impact
Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in the construction industry and in dealing with subcontractors
- C0mpleted studies or training in technical or engineering fields
- Confident use of the PC and common application programs
- Teamwork, commitment, assertiveness, empathy and flexibility
- Organisational and communication skills
- Fluent oral and written German, knowledge of French / English is an advantage
The salary is dependant on experience, my client will provide accommodation on site & a car if required.
