The Technical Coordinator role:
A well established, stable housing developer are looking to appoint a Technical Coordinator for their team based in Birmingham due to continued growth. The role will primarily focus on local and affordable housing schemes across Birmingham and this is an office based position.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Technical Director, ensuring the company carries out its contractual responsibilities for coordination of construction details, managing the flow of design information and working on projects at different stages from Pre-Construction to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected and stable developer who have several live and upcoming projects across the Midlands. The successful Technical Coordinator will typically coordinate 4-6 projects at a time, all of which will be at different stages from tender to delivery. Candidates with an Architectural background are preferred but this is not essential.
To be considered for the Technical Coordinator position:
- HNC/Degree in Construction (or similar field)
- Experience working for a developer, architectural practice or consultancy preferred
- Ideally 6 months experience working as a Technical Coordinator (or similar)
