The Job:

Navartis are currently on the lookout for a Technical Sales Manager for a successful manufacturing company operating within the rail sector.

This role acts as an exciting entry point into a business who are specialists in their sector – offering fully approved solutions to their customers, keeping passengers as the forefront of the focus for their product.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Establish a comprehensive understanding of the full company catalogue and forming a strategy around this knowledge
  • Build and maintain comprehensive working relationships within the rail market – acting as a key representative for the brand
  • Providing technical support where required, demonstrating an ability to tailor specific approaches depending on the customer – understanding their exact use cases and different applications
  • Work in a pro-active manner to create a work pipeline that will further expand presence within the market
  • Arrange meetings with clients as well as representing the business at related networking events
  • Work collaboratively with the wider business to inform strategic decisions – providing market insight within your specialism and support the decision making process

The Ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience within the rail sector is essential for the role – knowledge of how the sector operates and the ability to build upon previous relationships
  • Pro active attitude – being able to be involved with a project from start to finish, as well as contributing to improvements and efficiencies
  • Background in an electrical engineering discipline such as cabling would be highly beneficial
  • Comprehensive communication skills – ability to communicate efficiently across all forms (phone, email, face to face)
  • Flexibility to be able to travel to various sites, managing your work diary around your responsibilities in an autonomous way

The Package:

  • Competitive salary (up to £70,000 depending on experience)
