Jot Title: Commercial Assistant
Location: South Yorkshire
5 days per week in the office
We are seeking a Commercial Assistant to join a Telecoms contractor based in South Yorkshire, to aid and assist the commercial department on FTTP projects across Yorkshire, Midlands and the North-West.
Your role as a Commercial Assistant will be to offer day-to-day assistance to the team, ensuring all administrative tasks relating to the commercials of the business are done accurately and efficiently, ultimately driving growth within the business.
Key Responsibilities for this Commercial Assistant role:
- Day-to-day assistance to the SQS and other Senior Leaders in the business
- Maintain and track key commercial performance metrics.
- Cross-referencing drawings with supplier and contractor invoices and ensuring alignment throughout the business.
- Provide administrative support to the commercial team, including reporting, data analysis, and documentation.
- Utilising CEMAR to track and plan data, collate and present to the client
- Drive cost savings throughout the business
Key Requirements for this Commercial Assistant role:
- Proven understanding of commercials within a fast-paced environment - ideally Telecoms experience but would consider utilities/construction
- Excellent IT skills - full Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to conduct report analysis on findings
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand Telecom and Construction drawings
Package offered for this Commercial Assistant role:
- Salary £30,000 + package (depending on experience)
