Key responsibilities for this Multifamily Assistant Superintendent role:
-Assist the Superintendent in overseeing day-to-day construction operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring work progresses according to schedule.
-Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure they meet project specifications, industry standards, and building codes.
-Enforce safety protocols on-site, conduct regular inspections, and ensure all workers comply with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
-Help manage the timely delivery of materials and equipment, addressing any supply chain issues that could impact project timelines.
-Facilitate communication between the superintendent, project manager, and subcontractors, and assist with maintaining daily reports on project status, delays, and progress.
Experience required for this Multifamily Superintendent role:
-Prior experience in the construction industry, ideally in a supervisory or assistant superintendent role on multifamily or large-scale residential projects.
-Familiarity with construction schedules and the ability to assist in managing timelines, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring on-time project delivery.
-Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to multifamily construction.
-Hands-on experience with safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, and the ability to help enforce safety procedures on-site.
-Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide work on-site and ensure project accuracy.
Package Offered:
- $90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
