The Pre-Construction Engineer Role:
Due to an influx of new projects, a large, well-respected housing developer have an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Construction Engineer to join the team working on projects typically consisting of between 50-400 units across the Midlands. Reporting to the Land Director and liaising with the Technical Department, your role will include assisting the land team to de-risk bids and support the due diligence process for land acquisition approval. This would include technical reporting, providing strategies for drainage, cut & fill, retaining walls, foundations, and utilities. External engineers would also be utilised where necessary to add detail to proposed strategies for checking and presentation purposes.
The successful candidates will oversee several sites at a time and be the primary focal point for any Engineering related queries during the Pre-Construction phase. You will also have experience working for another housing developer, in-depth understanding of Highway & Sewer Standards and a stable employment history.
