Freelance Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location : South-East London
Rate: £200 - £230 a day inside IR35
Duration: 3-month contract
Project: Clean water scheme
My client is focussed on providing a reliable, bright service for large clients across the Utility, Highway, Airside and Land Remediation sectors and delivering exceptional services for residents and developers including Skips, Aggregates and Utility Connections. They are currently looking for a agile freelance Assistant Quantity Surveyor or a Quantity Surveyor to work on a clean water scheme.
This is a Site based role in South-East London, on either a long-term freelance basis (3 years) or a freelance to permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Providing the Senior Quantity Surveyor with effective support in compilation of pretender estimates, cost planning and modelling of design and implementation options, cost review/monitoring of projects, tender compilation, negotiation, commercial review and subcontractor claim reviews
- Ensuring Contract Administration carried out iaw Contract requirements and in line with Corporate Governance
- Cost capture, payment applications, change control, on site measurements and pricing where applicable
Key Experience for this Freelance Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role:
- 2-5+ years' experience, ideally with experience within a similar role
- Relevance degree or qualification in the field.
