Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Location : East Midlands
Engagement : Freelance
Rate: £380-£420 per day (Outside IR35)
My client is a leading civil engineering company who hold an outstanding reputation in the heavy civils industry.
Due to another successful tender win and a full order book of projects starting in early January, they now require extra support on one of their schemes.
They are looking for a freelance quantity surveyor in the East Midlands to be based on site. This will be overseeing a heavy earthworks, drainage & more physical civils project.
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role
Must be able to operate wholly autonomously without supervision.
Heavy Civils Experience
NEC3 & NEC4 Experience
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
Sub-contractor procurement and final accounts
Tracking changes to the design and/or construction work.
Measuring and valuing the work done on site.
Key Experience for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor
Solid experience of heavy civils projects
The client is looking for someone who is a hard worker and happy to be site based

5 years experience as a quantity surveyor
Strong understanding of NEC
