Quantity Surveyor
Your role as Quantity Surveyor will give you the opportunity to use your skills and experience to ensure that Fibre Installation Projects across Scotland and North East of England are delivered successfull, in line with cost expectations.
Key Responsibilities for This Role:
- Working Alongside Contractors.
- Meet Project Deliverables on Time with Emphasis on Quality.
- Contract management through CEMAR.
- Dealing with Compensation Events/Variations from Build Partners.
- Experience Receiving Application for Payments and Issuing Payment Certificates.
- Cost Forecasting & Reporting Through CE’s, EWNs, and CVR’s.
Key Requirements for This Role:
- Able to Work in Inverness Office and Travel to Sites When Needed.
- Degree/HND Certified.
- Experience Working Within Multi-Utilities, Construction, or Civils Environments.
- Building Productive Business Relationships at Stakeholder Levels.
- Wide Exposure to Applications, Claims Process, Placing Sub-Contracts, Negotiation of Contracts and Agreeing Final Accounts.
- NEC & JCT Contractual Form Experience and Knowledge.
