Superintendent

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to join a leading general contractor who specialises in large Commercial construction projects.

Our client is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join them on a local project in Dallas/Fort Worth with the opportunity to move on to other upcoming projects.

Key responsibilities for this Superintendent role:
- Supervises assigned project work and liaises between field engineering, estimating, and workforce to ensure project compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
- Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates monthly schedule from project feedback.
- Reviews and understands the project specifications to support job set up activities. Works with work crews, field engineers and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on job site. Working with multiple job sites and multiple project plans, when necessary.
- Forecasts the work schedule to identify possible issues and provides technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues.

Experience required for this Superintendent role:
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience required.
- 7+ years construction management experience required.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills required.
- Strong leadership capability with internal drive to mentor and grow internal talent.
- Proven ability to handle complex construction projects using strong organization and multi-tasking skills.

Package offered for this Superintendent role:
