Role Overview:
As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing technical aspects across multiple high-rise projects, ensuring designs are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget. You will also manage and coach a team of design professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive high-rise experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring effective design coordination and delivery across high-rise projects.
- Coach and mentor team members, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Oversee design reviews and technical solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues and drive project success.
- Ensure effective communication between stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Manage risk assessments, ensuring health and safety compliance throughout the design and construction phases.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Manager within the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
- Extensive experience with high-rise developments is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of building regulations, design standards, and construction methodologies.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
Location & Salary:
- Covering projects between Leeds and Milton Keynes.
- Salary up to £85,000 plus an attractive benefits package.
