Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Basildon

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of quantity surveying? We're supporting a well-established contractor currently expanding their commercial team, with a strong pipeline of data centre projects across the South East.
They're now looking to bring in a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing works and grow within the business.
What you'll be doing:
You won't be pigeonholed. This is a broad and varied role, where you'll gain exposure to:
Quantity surveying duties across pre- and post-contract stages
Procurement support
Involvement in estimating and tendering
Supporting project delivery from start to finish
You'll be based in a supportive Basildon office, working closely with two experienced surveyors, gaining valuable mentoring and hands-on training.
What they're looking for:
A keen, driven individual with 1-3 years' experience in a QS role (or similar)
Ideally some experience in construction, M&E or fit-out sectors
Strong communication and willingness to get stuck in across various functions
A team player who wants to learn and develop
