Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Civil Engineer with a strong background in geology or engineering geology to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will support the planning, design, and supervision of geotechnical and foundation engineering projects, contributing both technical engineering know-how and geoscientific insight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations, special foundation analysis, and geotechnical risk assessments
- Design foundation systems, retaining structures, and ground improvement measures
- Prepare geotechnical reports, site characterization studies, and documentation for authorities and clients
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, geologists, and construction partners
- Evaluate and interpret laboratory and field testing data
- Provide technical support during construction and supervise site activities when necessary
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years professional experience in geotechnical or foundation engineering
- Strong understanding of soil and rock mechanics, hydrogeology, and ground behavior
- Proficient in geotechnical design software and CAD tools
- Excellent German language skills (spoken and written); English is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset with a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites
