Job Title: Civil Manager
Location: Ireland
We are seeking a Civil Manager to join a Telecoms contractor to work on a major Fibre Build and Installation project on behalf of a major operator in Dublin.
Your role as the Civil Manager will be to oversee all civil engineering aspects of fibre optic network construction projects and ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure from excavation to reinstatement.
Key Responsibilities for this Civil Manager role:
- Oversee the full process of civil works relating to fibre optic network deployment, including excavation, ducting, trenching and reinstatement while supervising DL teams, subcontractors and site workers.
- Ensuring all sites and work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations (UK&I). Issuing training and toolbox talks when required and conducting regular safety audits.
- Oversee the full budgetary project budgets, with cost savings in mind and ensuring an efficient use of materials.
- Ensuring all civil works comply with building regulations and overseeing quality assurance measures.
- Acting as the senior report, addressing and resolving any issues arising during the construction phase
- Provide regular updates on the progress of works to senior management.
Key Requirements for this Civil Manager role:
- 5+ Years of experience in Civil Construction, preferably in fibre optic telecoms infrastructure
- Relevant degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of UK and EU health and safety regulations, relevant certifications ideally
- SMSTS, CSCS Card, Full Valid Driving License
Package offered for this Civil Manager role:
- €55,000 - €65,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
