Commercial Manager – Residential Construction
Location: Southampton (with projects across the UK)

The Role
This position is ideal for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Managing QS seeking to progress into a Commercial Manager role. You’ll take ownership of commercial operations for projects in Southampton and across the UK, while building and leading your own team as the company continues to grow.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage budgets, contracts, and procurement for residential construction projects.
- Provide strategic leadership while working closely with a supportive Managing Director.
- Drive the growth of the company’s commercial team, with autonomy to shape and scale the function.
- Manage financial forecasting, cost control, and risk assessments across projects.

- Has a proven track record in residential construction, ideally with experience in a main contractor environment.

- Has worked as a Senior QS or Managing QS and is ready to take on a leadership role.
- Is ambitious, proactive, and excited to contribute to both local Southampton projects and developments across the UK.
