The Job Title:
Design Manager

The role is within the consultancy arm of a Tier 1 Main Contractor who operate on major infrastructure projects across the UK. This role will form an essential part of the consultancy team, with the function of managing a multi-discipline design team across a variety of projects.

The candidate will be ideally based in a commutable distance to Cannock or Warrington.

Key responsibilities for this Design Manager role:

  • Lead the engineering design delivery on civil infrastructure design projects
  • Develop design management plans in line with project requirements
  • Review and liaise with internal Temporary Works Coordinators and Designers to ensure appropriate consideration of constructability and required permanent works.


Experience required for this Design Manager role:

  • Chartered with a professional institution regulated by the Engineering Council (or working towards Chartership)
  • Degree qualified engineer preferably in civil or structural engineering
  • Experience in a Design roles within the infrastructure field



Package offered for this role:

  • Up to £86,000 per annum
  • Car Allowance, bonus, holidays, pensions, health and wellbeing care etc.
