EHS Advisor | West Dublin

Job Description

We are looking for an experineced EHS Advisor in West Dublin, join a reputable developer that is well-known for its transformative work in creating vibrant communities and large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee site-specific Health & Safety plans, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Organize, lead, and participate in safety meetings to promote clear communication and consistent safety practices.
  • Deliver ongoing Health & Safety training and provide support to staff and subcontractors.
  • Conduct thorough reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing appropriate follow-up and preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with site managers and maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is safe and operational.
  • Keep accurate records of safety documentation, inspections, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and Health & Safety Authority (HSA) requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • An accredited degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field, recognized by the Health & Safety Authority.
  • Prior experience as a Health & Safety Officer in the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor on residential projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Irish Health & Safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to oversee multiple sites and manage tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of a full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Must be eligible to work in Europe.

Package:

  • Competitive salary ranging from €55K to €70K (negotiable based on experience).
