Salary: Up to £80,000 (Negotiable) + Benefits (including car allowance)
We are a well-established main contractor based in Maidenhead, specialising in residential projects, including conversions and new builds. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join this dynamic team.
About the Role
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, focusing on the financial planning and cost estimation for the conversion of offices into residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional or an Estimator looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documentation for projects.
- Conducting material quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Reviewing project specifications and design documents to develop accurate estimates.
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotes and pricing.
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally with residential project experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry-standard estimation software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
