The company is expanding its team and is seeking an Estimator with over 3 years of experience working with Irish or UK main contractors. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.
- Prepare and present tender submissions and proposals.
- Maintain and update historical cost data and pricing databases.
- Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to address any queries and ensure alignment on project requirements.
- Assist in the mentoring and development of junior estimators.
- Keep the management team informed of market trends, cost fluctuations, and competitive pricing strategies.
- A third-level degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an estimating role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Cubit software is required.
- Experience working with a main contractor in Ireland and/or the UK is essential.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Build Soft, BIM, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and budgets.
- Must be organized and skilled in presentation work.

- Working hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm, early finish on Fridays
