Due to continued we are seeking a Finishing Foreman to join our clients team and work on exciting construction projects across Cork and Munster. The ideal candidate should have experience in groundworks on housing projects. growth they are looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman to be based on one for multiple projects in the Cork Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all finishing works on the residential development, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues or defects that arise during the finishing phase.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any variations from the project plan.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman, with at least 3 years in a similar role on residential developments.
- Strong carpentry background with hands-on experience in finishing works.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Full EU license
- Must be eligible to work in Europe.
