Building Services Electrical Designer Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for industrial and commercial projects.
Conduct design calculations for equipment selection, lighting, cable sizing, and containment.
Assist the estimating team with sourcing quotations and vetting suppliers.
Provide technical support for the project team.
Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and technologies.
Review design specifications for accuracy and compliance.
Work closely with clients, architects, and project teams to ensure design integration.
Building Services Electrical Designer Qualifications
HND or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Proficient in CAD/Revit software.
Experience with Trimble design software is a plus.
Knowledge of lighting design and electrical system planning.
Building Services Electrical Designer Skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A deep understanding of building regulations and codes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

£45,000 - £60,000 depending on skills and experience.
