Process Engineer / Technician – Yorkshire Water
Location: Calder Vale in Wakefield & Hebden Bridge
Pay Rate: Outside IR35
️ Contract Until: End of March 2025
We’re seeking a Process Engineer to work for a contracting company on Yorkshire Water framework. The position is to start immediately and run into the new year. The position will be more of a Laboratory technician as you will be manipulating samples and generating the results.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Responsible for daily operations and optimization of wastewater treatment facilities, including Activated Sludge Plant, Anaerobic digesters, Sludge Dewatering and Thickening assets and Combined Heat and Power Units (CHPs).
✔️Ensured facilities operated in compliance with all environmental regulations.
✔️Responsible for taking and processing all daily samples.
✔️ Responsible for tracking maintenance requests to make sure all critical assets are in service and operating effectively, including coordinating work with external contractors.
