Location: London (NW)

Will concider candidates from any location willing to lodge away 4 days a week.

Salary / Package: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, negotiable dependant on experience plus package including; car / allowance and travel and subsistance paid.

Summary

One of the UK's largest infrastructure contractors are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Quality Engineer to work on a £1 billion Station delivery project in North West London, to support the project team, supply chain and others to manage quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support development, documentation and ongoing maintenance of the Quality (& Construction Assurance) Plan (supported the QCAH Manager and other team members) to meet relevant requirements (including ISO 9001) and associated procedures
- Provide appropriate input and support for development and ongoing maintenance of other plans & procedures
- Contribute to development and maintenance of a risk-based audit schedule
- Support the Quality Manager and QCAH Manager to ensure a specific, relevant, and comprehensive set of subcontract requirements relevant to quality and construction assurance have been incorporated within each tender package.
- Provide appropriate and proactive support working collaboratively with the project team, suppliers and others to ensure requirements have been met and authorisation can be given for works to commence by the required date. This included development and agreement by relevant parties of suitably comprehensive Inspection & Test Plans and corresponding items (e.g. checklists).

Who we're looking for


- Practical experience in quality management within the construction industry, preferably in a project-based organisation
- Technical knowledge and experience relevant to one of the following areas: FRC works, structural steel, fit-out, MEPH
- Ability to build strong relationships with the project team members, suppliers, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Able to communicate effectively orally and written and influence others including senior management
