Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Location: 3-4 days in Cambridge/1-2 days from home or office
Rate: £350 - £450 a dayDepending on experience - outside IR35
Duration: Rolling contract

My client is looking for an experience freelance Quantity Surveyor who has vast experience working on rail signalling projects due to a growth in the business. They are looking to interview and get someone started asap.
You will be assisting in the delivery and governance of commercial services in a manner that achieves both value for money for our client and sustainable shareholder value consistent with the contract, tender and agreed processes in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation.
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
- Scheduling of rates, and applications of payment, and revenue / reports
- Managing own diary
- Understand, prepare and present monthly cost/value reports.
- Preparation and management of sub-contracts.
- Maintaining appropriate commercial records in line with contract requirements
Key Experience for this Freelance Quantity Surveyor Role:
- 2+ years' experience, ideally with experience within a similar role
- Relevance degree or qualification in Rail Signalling
