Quantity Surveyor - Grade-Listed Buildings (Refurbishments & Restructures)

Location: Office-based in North West London with projects across London

Sector: Grade-Listed Buildings / Refurbishments & Restructures

Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor to join an established and respected London-based company specialising in the refurbishment and restructure of grade-listed buildings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial aspects of refurbishment and restructuring projects for grade-listed buildings.
  • Prepare, oversee, and finalise cost plans, budgets, and project valuations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Oversee procurement and tendering processes to ensure best value and quality.
  • Monitor project progress, manage variations, and produce final accounts.
  • Play a key role in mentoring junior surveyors, supporting their professional growth, and laying the foundation for your own career progression into management.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within refurbishments or heritage/grade-listed building projects.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage costs effectively across complex projects.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • An ambitious, proactive, and results-oriented attitude with a drive to grow into a leadership role.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or working towards professional accreditation (RICS preferred but not essential).
