This is a great opportunity for an experienced, Contract Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Telecommunications company to provide support within cost estimation, providing material quantities and deliver projects within agreed timelines, on Network Expansion projects in Rural and Urban locations within the UK.
Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Provide Commercial and Contractual expertise to Contracts, Drafting & Issuing Correspondence.
- Preparation and Submission of Weekly Progress Claims to Client. Valuations to be Agreed with Client QS Representative on a Bi-weekly Basis.
- Meet Project Deliverables on Time and with Emphasis on Quality.
- Collect and Review Worksheet Completed by Sub-Contractors Sent in on a Weekly Basis.
- Managing Commercial Assistants as the Project Evolves in Size.
- Review and Sign off Sub-Contractor Invoices to be Passed to Accounts for Payments.
Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Significant Experience and Transferable Skills in a Similar Role.
- Organised, Focused and Able to meet Deadlines.
- Qualified Surveyor Qualification.
- Experience within Construction if not within Telecoms.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- NEC3 and NEC4 Contract Knowledge and Experience.

- 6 Month Contract role.
