This is a great Opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Infrastructure company, providing support on a Fibre Installation project.
The company are seeking an established Quantity Surveying specialist with Telecoms experience based in Guildford to work 5 days in office and on site. Your role as Quantity Surveyor will give you the opportunity to use your skills and experience to ensure that Fibre is installed across the Rural & Urban areas in the South of the UK is delivered successfully, in line with cost expectations.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Overseeing Installations of Fibre Throughout Guildford and Surrounding Areas.
- Working in a Large Team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers.
- Meet Project Deliverables on Time with Emphasis on Quality and Cost.
- Coaching and Supporting Junior Quantity Surveyors/Data Analysts Joining the Team (Upskilling and Toolbox Talks).
- Suitable Candidate Will Work 5 Days in the Office with Occasional Site Visits.
Requirements for this role:
- 5 Years Minimum Experience as Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience within the Fibre Telecommunications Industry.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Organised, Efficient and Able to Lead By Example.
- NEC 3 & NEC 4 (A, B and C,) and JCT Design and Build Contract Experience.
- Full Understanding of Cost Value Reconciliations.
- Full Driving License.
- Degree/Masters in Contract Management, Project Management and Quantity Surveying.
