Quantity Surveyor
This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and fast-growing Design, Manufacture, and Turnkey Services Provider, delivering support for HS2 Fire Protection projects.
The company are seeking an established Quantity Surveying specialist based in Greater Manchester. Your role will involve managing all commercial aspects of projects, from assisting the tender process, to the settlement of accounts, while minimising costs and enhancing values, achieving the required standards and quality.
Key Responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Working Alongside Sub-Contractors and Handling of Financial and Contractual Control of Accounts.
- Forecasting Turnover, Cashflow, and Cost/Value Reports to Commercial Management.
- Attending Essential Meetings for Contract Handover, Start-up, Progress, and Contract Review.
- Develop Proactive Relationships with Stakeholders, Providing Appropriate Guidance to Make Good Business Decisions.
- Handling Commercial Aspects from Tender Process to Settlement of Accounts.
- Working Effectively in a Team and Delegate, Whilst Also Able to Work on Own Initiative.
Key Experience for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- 5 Years Minimum from a Contracting or Project Delivery Background - Working in Nuclear, Engineering, or Construction Divisions.
- Expertise Across JCT, NEC, and ICHEME Contract Forms.
- HND / Degree (or Equivalent) Certified.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with Strong Numeric and Computer Literacy Skills.
- Building Productive Business Relationships at Stakeholder Levels.
- Wide Exposure to Applications, Claims Process, Placing Sub-Contracts, Negotiation of Contracts and Agreeing Final Accounts.
